2) About the Role

We are seeking a Technology Lead (Head of Engineering) to develop ,manage and optimize the technology architecture of the Pauz. This in-person role, based in Delhi, will focus on improving and seamless operation of our systems. The candidate will handle application maintenance, device fleet management, and cloud backend management. This is a DevOps and backend-focused role, requiring close collaboration with the Founder of Pauz to drive technological excellence.

3) Key Responsibilities

Technology Architecture Management:

  • Oversee the architecture and functionality of the Pauz application, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

  • Design and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency.

Maintenance:

  • Perform regular system checks, updates, and optimizations to maintain application stability.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Device Fleet Management:

  • Manage the fleet of devices deployed in various locations, ensuring smooth integration and operation.

  • Monitor device performance and coordinate updates or replacements as necessary.

Cloud Backend Management:

  • Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient data storage and processing.

  • Manage cloud services to support application functionality and performance.

DevOps and Backend Development:

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth backend operations and integration.

4) Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud management, or backend development are a plus.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and backend development.

    • Proven track record in managing cloud infrastructure and maintaining enterprise applications.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

    • Strong knowledge of backend frameworks and technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).

    • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

    • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
